And what about the two lines that connect three of the stars? Are they stars? How about the oval, and that one star that is half in/half out. That was created by Brian (SubaruJunkie) as a morphing of various styles of the " Stars" that Subaru has used over the years. I know at one time there were more lines used to connect more of the stars, and now there are no lines. Also, the positions of some of the stars have changed over the years. Brian did a great job of pulling the different generations together, by combining the various logos.
