dcgmiller
I'm having problems with overheating on my 97 Legacy 2.5 GT. When I'm driving at low speeds, the car heats up. When I'm on the highway, the thermostat reads a cooler temperature. I've already had the water pump and thermostat replaced, so I'm at a loss as to what to do. Any ideas? nipper
Are the electric cooling fans coming on? Thats a typical sympton of a failed cooling fan switch . nipper
tcspeer
You may just need to take the radiator out and wash the fins. Mine was overheating and I took it out and carried it to a Radiator shop. they told me after they cleaned it that it only needed the outside cleaned. It ran fine after this.
