pete andrews Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 hi guys,greetings from an old scooby owner in ingerland (uk), have just got my dream mota,a '78 scooby 1600 gl coupe,is amazing,but unfortunately someone has fitted a '81 1600 engine with a five speed box and a crap homemade gearbox mounting.... : ( this means the whole lot is sat too far forward as the driveshaft top joint rubs on the steering column when turning,any suggestions? hope someone can help cheers pete gloucestershire,england Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
