While I haven't checked out the 2006, I would bet it is identical to the 05 in regards to trailer hitches. On the 05, the wiring harness is accessed by removing all the styrofoam inserts on the Left rear floor, then reaching up under the left rear side panel where you will find the harness taped in a loop.
