eracer_x Posted August 31, 2005 Share Posted August 31, 2005 O.K., this is actually for my wife, it's a 94 Impreza Sedan L and from what I can tell is in nice shape for the price. As she's just learning to drive it's also an auto which make this a pretty dull model from a performance standpoint. I haven't actually even seen it yet as I'm out of town and found it for her on the internet. She just looked at it today and seems to like it. Problems: From what I gather the car's tail light stays on so the battery has to be disconnected when parked. Also the gearshifter seemed to be stuck in park when they first started it (quickly fixed with a nail) other then that the car looks and drives nice. The owner also told my wife she recently replaced both axles?? and had it tuned up, and that the car has never been in a serious accident (so she says). I don't believe the car is AWD but my wife wasn't sure. The price is $1000 and I won't be able to see it until this coming Sunday. I'm a BIG fan of the WRX and figure this would be a good way to become familar with the brand..at least both cars have the boxer configuation (I'm assuming this car has the 1.8 engine).
