Guest syphon
I was looking at that picture of the '92 Brumby and I noticed that the wheels were the same as mine, but with chrome center caps! Was this an Aussie only thing... or perhaps they're different wheels altogether? I've never seen then anywhere else... Here's the wheel I'm talking about. <img src="http://jagologs.dyndns.org/subaru/wheel.jpg"/>
Guest Hondasucks
Those did all come with chrome center caps, but since they used a plastic ring to hold them in, most of them have over time fallen out.
Guest Flowmastered87GL
I think my 82 brat has all 4 of the center caps. I will try to check tomorrow. I will be selling them off (along with the tires and wheels as cheap full size spares) to pay for various parts of the project in afew weeks

Guest Sweet82
On my 82 the center piece is all metal no plastic and they have stayed put for 21 years:eek: They don't want to come off. Check you local junkyard.... Glenn, 82 Hatch, transforming....

Guest syphon
Where are they? Searching for "Subaru wheel" yields no results.
Guest alvinsr
Here is a wheel cap auction on eBay. It says they are for a brat. They have a blue logo in the center. I don't believe they will fit yours. Perhaps someone else can tell you. I also have the wagon wheels on my 86 S/W like you do. Caps at a Subaru dealer cost me $32.32 each and the plastic holder costs $5.93. Try the junk yard first. Subaru's are hard to find in a junk yard. Here is the addy at ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6783&item=2425672803http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6783&item=2425672803 Hope this helps you. alvinsr
Guest Caboobaroo
my friend had a set of the white wagon wheels on his 83 wagon and they had the beauty rings and ceter caps on them. All of his center caps were the metal style not the plastic "I wanna come off while you're driving" caps:lol:
Guest Russ Hill
The center caps are metal but the are held in by a plastic ring. The plastic rings get old and brittle over time, then the cap goes flying. The plastic retainers are still available at the dealer for $4.00 a set (4). Guest GBianchi
4$ for four "anything" at the dealer is a steal, I just may get some and I don't even want them!!!

Guest Russ Hill
Hmmm I've owned my '83 since it had 11 miles on it. It has Wagon wheels and plastic rings to hold on the caps. I have noticed that the steel wheels don't use the plastic rings. Maybe it's only the wagon wheels that use them.
Guest clantieri
My 84 has the original wagon wheels too, and yep, plastic retainer rings...I'm with Russ. Chris
