bratsrus1 Posted September 8, 2005 Share Posted September 8, 2005 Hi Everybody This is Jerry,well i am trying to stuff a LSD in a 5 speed dual range tranny. I removed the LSD unit from the rear housing and the ring gear has 8 bolts on it. Well the ring gear from the 5 speed has 12 bolts on it they don't swap over. I was sure somebody has done this swap over. My question is what set up was used on the change over. Please let me know i need to get this tranny back together. A few people have torn them down to look, just like what you are doing, but I don't know of a single success in using the LSD chunk in the front diff. Closest thing is a phantom grip.
