Double posted, but it doesn't ruffle my feathers so much....if someone feels it should be deleted as a double post then it'll have to be whacked.

I really need a three day weekend to go get the '79 of Raven's and this one....but we'll see what actually happens. With the gas prices it's going up to like $400+++ just for a tow dolley, gas and tolls.......

Paul,

about Raven`s wagon, if it is going to cost you that much to pick it up, i would recomend finding an independent shipper (unless you want to take a trip).i searched ebay for "auto transport; or shipping" and emailed a couple of the east coast people listed.i found a guy willing to ship this wagon to my door for $500, wich really doesn`t seem to bad.just a thought.take care,

Jon

hum if your going to restore it it might be worth it. or maybe not since you can find them here in MT. seams like it would be worth the time to find one else where and buy it and ship it then to spend the time restoring it.

case in point the wagon i just got was 200.00 bucks runs poor and drives awsome.

body is in good shape and intior is awsome. thing is i know where a dozen gen1 brats and wagon are within 100 miles of here and there all probably avalible for under 500.00 ea with some free.

for parts it may be worth it.

if you ever get a chance to check out those wagons please let me know, i am always looking.i just want another gen 1 soo bad.i will give you a finders fee.

i would appreciate even just an address or name to do a reverse lookup.the only thing is that mt is real far away so shipping would probly be over $1000 for a nonrunning soob.thanks

you want a wagon or a brat? i can probably find either in good conddition. just depends i would think a running one in awsome shape should be around 800-1000 bucks. around here. non running could be anything. . pm your price range and what exactly you want.

IE

800.

79

4x4

no rust

type of thing.

You know what I want.Splitgate wagon, any year. Now stop making us green with envy, please.

I'd like to get a '77-79 for mess with. They are too rusty to restore here unless you got a miracle car like my '78 or the very,VERY few still on the east coast that were protected, garaged, and pampered.I'll take something like this and just go artistic on it.But,is it worth the cost??Probably not.

Jon,if you change your mind I'm down for the roadtrip. It'll take some working out but a Friday night departure, all nighter puts us in FL by Saturday afternoon.Leave Sunday early morninig and be home by midnight.

Paul or Cricket, one of you guys go for it.i don`t want to rush into something thats going to be a huge project, but if you guys could use the parts, its not so bad.looking at the big picture, it has no back seat, floors are rusted through in varius places, it may need a motor, it pops out of 4wd, and it is not really a straight looking car.

I can't add another wagon to my two already. But I do want the interior. The seller says the interior is "ratty" but he didn't say (or I didn't ask) the rear seat is missing. I think the seat is folded forwarded and it just looks like it's missing.
