If I can't find a suitable donor car, is there anything special about the hoses? Do I need to order them or will some cut-to-length do?

Well, if I can't find a good donor car around here, a new kit is only $32.
I wouldn't mind the white smoke so much if I could control it. It would be a good way to get that tailgater off my rump roast.
