pianodirt Posted September 25, 2003 Share Posted September 25, 2003 My driver's side window rattles when it is partially rolled down and I am driving highway speeds or when I shut the door with it part way down. Haven't looked into it yet, may try to get to it this weekend and post back here with my findings. Have 2 other vehicles scheduled for repairs first, so it may be later Sunday....... Guest taprackready Posted September 25, 2003 Share Posted September 25, 2003 You may need to adjust the tracks that the window slides up and down on. There is an adjustment nut for the top and bottom of the front and rear track. If you look down from the top of the window and compare the passenger side to the drives side, you will probably notice the drivers glass is not snug against the rubber trim strips like the passenger side is. If I put my heater fan on high it blows the window out of the seal and I hear the wind noise as I'm driving....... I finally got in the habit of holding my window as I close the door..... and not running the heater over the 3rd speed..... I guess it's a moot point now...........since I removed my doors...
