In2toys
91 Loyal, by the fuel filter in the engine compartment there are 2 plugs that aren't plugged to anything. 1 yellow, 1 black. Diag plugs? Clumped with them are also 2 other single wire plugs. one has a green connector & the other one white. I was out tinkering last night & noticed they were both unplugged from their prospective mates. The white went to white & the green to a green mate. I plugged them in & My Stalling problem seeeeemed to go away, but now the check engine light is flashing again... Are the wires supposed to be plugged in or not???
Cougar
Those white and green plugs are only plugged together for testing purposes. They shouldn't be tied together for normal driving.

Crap... it runs better with them plugged in.... I gotta find a mechanic who knows how to work on this thing or part it out. Problem is the engine seems to be in good shape except for the stalling. I'll do a search again on stalling & see what I can come up with. THanks for your help. Jerry
Cougar
Have you checked for any codes stored in the ECU yet? Also you may want to look for a vacuum leak in the hoses and intake manifold.
