Why would some one stoop so low!!!! this ticks me off, i have been there myself a few times, i mean, its a part of history. what the hell! Thats just not cool at all! btw i put this in meet n greet because i wanted everyone to hear about it and its like lots of people on the board have probably been there. Fort Clatsup is where Lewis & Clark wintered over on the Oregon coast with the Corps of Discovery. The fort was a historical rebuild on the original ruins from 1806, and next year was to be the bi-centennial celebration at the fort. Hondasucks Posted October 31, 2005 Share Posted October 31, 2005 I've been there myself, was quite a while ago but I remember making beef tallow candles (still have them, AND the mold!) and going through the rebuilt fort.
