I was just wondering how much interest there was in these? He thinks that there is a lot. So if there is, I will make a jig to build them on. Besides everyone knows how the original tailgates get bent up , the original seems cheap.... Also try and find a tailgate that is not all bent up and rusted on the east coast. hard to find in a junk yard..... Or you could buy one of the air brat gates and take your good one off and save it... And how about the fuel econo issues... No more air drag on that original closed tailgate... Since I am bobbing the tail and wont be using THAT tailgate anymore, it would be nice to have an air gate for it. You lower your tailgate and put these things on the end and get an extra foot or so out of the bed. I thought that someone would have made one of these for a brat by now.
