99obw Posted September 28, 2003 Share Posted September 28, 2003 I find it virtually impossible that a different exhaust would actually damage the ECU. The only wear item is FLASH memory, which is capable of a limited number of writes. I doubt the FLASH is being written in the car as the settings are forgotten at power down.
