So, can I tow my 88 RX with just the front wheels off the ground for about 15 miles? It has an open center diff so I'm thinking it should be ok?

Not the best for the center diff, but yeah I think you'd be OK, I'd go slow. If it were me I think I'd pull the 4 bolts that hold the driveline to the rear diff input and tie the drive line up to the exhaust... no worries then.

I wouldnt risk it. If you detatched the driveline then you'd be okay.

the automatics have a fuse that you insert? (iirc) to put it into FWD only mode.
