Just another quick question...Which circuit should I tap into for a tachometer, I assume something that is only live when the Ignition is ON. Would the other powered gauges (fuel gauge?) be very easy to tap into? The car is an 81 Brat. RH Drive
Any suggestions would be nice.

Get a test light, and turn the ignition on, find out what fuses have power in this position, and tie in your positive wire from that, but make sure that when the ignition is off, the fuse dosn't have power.
