1983 - Gift for my 16th Birthday - 1973 GL 1400 Coupe - Yellow, black vinyl top, black stripes. Had 75,000 miles, was cherry. Destroyed in 1986 via head on collision.

Between 1983 and 1987 also owned the following:

Orange 1973 GL 1400 Coupe, Red 1974 DL Sedan, Yellow 1975 GL Coupe.

By 1987 I was working full time, commuting, and bought a new Nissan Sentra. My parents had my stash of Subaru's towed away........... :banghead:

Still have it in AZ. Eventually, I'd like to pick it up. Or if someone local (or not) is interested in it, it's still free. I'm still paying my $25 per month storage fee. The yard owner hasn't complained. Yet. Subie75 thought he might want my 79 4WD, and thought I'd let the 79 to go get the 78, but it didn't work out. And now he has the van on the block and it's left me drooling over here.

You still have that wagon in AZ? What's yuor plan with that?

  • 3 weeks later...

I've had my yellow '75 since about 20 minutes after I first met moosens, when he was starting to liquidate the FSCR. That was (according to the post on the old board, I looked it up) around 6:30pm June 29th 2003. Then my '73 I first became acquainted with at the beginning of June this year. Didn't pick it up 'til a month thereafter, though.
