ScoobySchmitty Posted October 2, 2003 Share Posted October 2, 2003 Hey all, I recently bought a Cosmo Racing filter for my 91 Legacy. It works wonderfully, but as of late the performance has been dropping ever so slightly. It is similar in design and construction to the K&N Filterchargers (who don't make anything for 1st Gen Legacy's), so would it be kosher to use their filter cleaning and re-oiling kit on my filter? I believe it is a cotton fabric filter element, but I don't know for sure. I would have to pull it out and look at it. Any suggestions would be really Thanks! applegump Posted October 2, 2003 Share Posted October 2, 2003 I've cleaned and re-oiled my K&N filter with a different brand kit than K&N.
