Hey hows it going everyone- Im new to the forums and it seems like youve got a nice wealth of information here for subaru owners.
Anyway, ive got a 2001 forester s and ive found that the shifter is rather clunky/ imprecise and id like a slightly shortened throw. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as brands for short throw shifters? Thanks

I'd recommend replacing the shifter bushings. Kartboy makes replacement bushings that really help the feel of the stock shifter. They also sell short shifters. However the bushings are what help improve the precisiveness of the shifter
