Roc291
I just purchased a used '03 Baja with approx. 15,500 miles on it. I love the car but the engine makes a loud knocking noise when accelerating. Noise will go away after driving for about ten minutes. Just wondering if this was normal or just due to the exterme cold weather in PA. I used to own a 1999 Outback Legacy and I don't remember it occuring with that. Keep in mind I don't know much about car repair. Thanks
nipper
Not normal. VEry not normal. Since its under warretny take it to the dealer before the warrenty runs out and let them look at it. SOUnds more then the usual piston slap on your other Subaru? nipper
