That may be so. However, those of us that have lots of auxilary lighting and loud stereos kinda need that extra juice. Ya C what I'm sayin'? :D

On the subject of alternator capacity: do you really want or need anywhere near 100A capacity?

 

The lack of easily available 100+ amp alternator was the reason I sold my stereo system and haven't installed a decent light set up.. I guess I got spoiled by the factory 115amp alt in my saab.. for daily use, 65 is fine.. but when each amplifier is pulling up to 40 amps, and there are 2 of them.. 65 just don't cut it.

 

Anyway.. thats the reasoning behind the interest for at least a few of us.. lights and sound
