GLCraig Posted October 14, 2003 Share Posted October 14, 2003 About a year I replaced the clutch in my 84 GL 4wd, the parts came from a dealer and included the disk, plate, pilot bearing, release bearing and release bearing holder. When everything went back together, I ran out of adjustment with the clutch cable before the proper adjustment could be obtained. Well I drove it like that for a few weeks then I ended up buying my legacy and ended up not driving my GL very often. Well this weekend, in peroration for the rally cross. I went and replaced the clutch cable. But now my new cable has the same problem. Too much slack and not enough adjustment left. And yes I do have the cable routed correctly. The only things I can think of are that I got either the wrong release bearing or the wrong release bearing holder. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
