Any other job opps in the Northwest?

Recommended Posts

I'm searching all the usual places (Monster, the times, etc.)... but I just wanted to see if anyone here has any job openings that might suit my needs that are at their workplaces or nearby.

I recently became unemployed, so I am able to start at any time.

I'm an experienced computer hardware repair technician and cashier, but don't have any other experience. I am a quick learner and am willing to do anything so long as it is:

1) legal

2) full time (37.5+ hours)

3) at least $12.50/hr

4) within 25 miles of everett.

Anyone know of any such positions?

NOAA is hiring. Nat. Oceanic and Atmospheric Admin.

I forget Washington's geography, but we have 2 big places in Seattle. Also there's a place in Port Angeles.

I have worked for them for the past 4 yrs and they have taken really good care of me especially considering I dont have a degree.

You have to go to http://www.noaa.gov

Then scroll down and look on the left side of the page where it says "opportunities". Click there. On the next page select the link to the acronym "aces".

You have to fill out a profiel before you can see the open jobs. Its kind of a hassle but you only have to do it once. Also, you don't have to get the profile/resume perfect the first time, you can go back and change it at any time.

The hiring process is very very frustrating. It may be the worst thing about the job. But its stable work with good benefits.

If you have trouble understanding "govt. speak" and you just want to know what the hell the job is and how much it pays, feel free to pm me and I can help translate.

I'll be glad to help anyone try to get on with NOAA. We have intallations all over the country and we hire all types of positions from janitors to astrophysists. Go for it!

Accra Manufacturing http://www.accramfg.com/ See the employment page.

I think they're looking for assembly, shipping, and general warehousing skills. Machine and aerospace background desired, but probably not required. Business is booming. (This is an unofficial posting by the way. I don't represent the company, I just happen to work there.)

Looking for someone with English teaching credentials - we're in a panic - position available for the remainder of the year (and a good chance to get hired back full time next year). Pay is in the mid 30's with medical and retirement bennies. (Bennies aren't available this year, but if you get rehired, they go into effect in August). - And no. It's not me who got fired.
