Ok they are a 82 4wd station wagon and a 84 Hatchback 4x4. The guy says the hatchback runs but he has no idea what is wrong with the station wagon. Should I get them or what?

I have been given free Subies before. About a year and a half ago I got 2 GL-10 wagons one day apart. I just have never been offered 2 at the same time. Well I guess I am asking just because they are about a 2 hour drive away from me. I could only haul one at a time with my trailer. That just ends up being a lot of gas! Epecially when you are pulling with a 2006 Yukon with a big gas guzzling 5.3 in it!

if you're complaning about GAS mileage  , think of FUEL economy of a small EFFICIENT DIESEL

16 or 20 mpg in rx vs. 45 mpg in vw pickup :headbang:

if you need more encouragement to get the subarus, just think that you could be the horse of :horse: :brow:

Can you borrow a bigger trailer and make one trip?

The real question is do you have a place to put them?
or better yet...Do you have a use for them?

I could have a lot of vehicles for free but I refuse to start my own Junkyard.
...said the guy with six vehicles....

Many things to think about...
Good Luck,

As curator of 2 free subes I go for it, the upfront may seem spendy but the overall feeling of having more subarus will wash the cost away. Especially a Hatch!

If the guy does e-mail me back and tells me to come get them I will be going to get them. I might be able to get both on the trailer. I figure the hatchback is shorter so that may make it possible to get both on it. I have room for two no problem. I can always find room for another Subie. Besides my 78 Brat is getting lonely:D
