subieman
I did a search, but to much stuff to mill over right now. Anyone have the answer? I'm pulling a auto tranny out of a 95 legacy and transplanting it into a 90 legacy. The 90 has 4.11 rear end, I just wanted to make sure everything will match up. Thanks, Jeremy
idosubaru
there's a great post on this topic with a link to something like Rallispek or some other site with a DETAILED list....like every subaru ever made (not quite) listed. look for that link, unfortunately i don't recall exactly where it is but i found it not too long ago using the search and looking for final gear ratio. subieman
Dang can't find it. I installed the tranny and I'm getting a lot of binding in the rear. So guess the ratios are not the same. The transmission is from a 1995 Legacy LSI auto and it was put in a 90 Legacy L auto. There is a sticker on the rear diff of the 90 4.11 but no sticker on the 95... figures..... dmanaenk
here you go 95 legacy is 3.90 95 outback is 4.
subieman
Thanks, but according to that chart... its for the 5-speed manual. Or am I reading it wrong?
subieman
Haha.. oh boy.. this info is hard to find! went to Legacy Central and got a rude comment about searching. I have... but to no end.... oh well.. Since I do have binding I will change out the diff anyway and hope it fixes my problem.
