I've had this setup for years. No problems. Looks like it belongs there.

I took the back seat out of my wagon for room for two full size spares, and the space behind the console between the front seats comfortably holds two 22oz bottles of....

Well, finally took some pics of the T-Wagon and XT6 cupholders. Dont have anything good for the Hatch yet.
