hahaha I had a feeling #50 was going to be that shot.

To explain,I got at least 2 full turns on the trailing arm bolt.Good to check before driving on the highway @ 75mph for 2+ hrs.

Nice shots Steve. You think you got enough of your car?:D

So do we try for April or just get everyone to Carlisle in May?

#18 - "Mike's (svxpert) RX is now pulling on Ben's Brat, which is pulling on Dave's car... Dave's car seems to think this is just a sand throwing contest."

LMAO...Oh, that's hilarious!

Those pics of EJ's hatch actually have me intrigued... I think the thought of having a hatch is starting to grow on me. Guess that means I'll have to have two Subaru's *exaggerated sigh*

Good pics!

Assuming I've got a replacement Subie together by April, I'll seriously be considering stopping on by... Carlisle shouldn't be a problem either. I'm definitely going to need to stop by one or three of these meets...

I think you should have a off-road meet down your way, once you get your hatch together and that Super Brat gets ready. Let me know I am sure you could get at least 3 or 4 people to show up.

As usual we had about 7 or 8 people show for the PB, the usual suspects and afew new faces. It was nice to finally meet Skip and was cool to see Smitty and his Powder mobile. Where ever we have a meet we have to make sure Moosens comes along with his stock wagaon to pull me to safety....

Thanks for the tow job'S Paul....

Sorry I spelled Luc's name wrong before.

Stock ROCKS!!!! No sweat EJ,we're used to that.(Luc)

I'd give VA or western NC a shot but it'd have to be planned well in advance and it'd more than likely need to be a family vacation for me.LostWater's area is nice and hilly.Heck,we could use his backyard and have a blast!:headbang: And there's native brookies in the stream too!!

I like those motion shots.Man I wish we all lived closer to PB.Not the worlds toughest off roading but just fun enough for us.

We all need a lifted Hatch or Brat.Only you need to be able to have places to play with them.Hard to do in this area.

Thanks to everyone for welcoming in a stranger ... well, not as strange as SOME!

I think the high point was Luke catching the grille. I told him to try as a jest, and damned if he didn't get it on the second or so cast.

When I stopped for breakfast Sunday morning on my way to the Air & Space Museum (to see the Wright Bros. exhibit and the Flyer up close) my brakes were still complaining about sand. I did make it back to BWI with the wheel bearing going (still moving but sounds u-u-gly!).

When I talked to the Pretty One on the phone and told her how well Powder Patrol did in the sand she agreed we need to build a Subaru based glass-bodied beach car for Hawaii. I think I need to start with a hatch or 3-door for a donor ... Mudrat, put your thinking cap back on.

Great Pics guys! I think I'm finally getting my hearing back after the long, loud drive home. Put a bolt in there today that is holding just fine although the exhaust is still leaking at the head. Guess I'll be calling and ordering a new exhaust stud this morning. Moosens, don't forget about that new grill I need!:D
