Caboobaroo Posted May 9, 2006 Share Posted May 9, 2006 FOR FREE! If some of you remember about a year ago, I was with a friend in Casper, WY about 3 hours from here. Across from his ex's house, there was a fellow that had two gen 1 Brats. One was an '80 DL, with low topper and pushbar, and the other was a '81 GL 1800, d/r 4 speed with low rollbar and jumpseats. However, very sadly, the body on the '81 is toast, too much rust to try and revive, BUT the '80, besides a messed up fender, was in pretty good condition. I wanted them but the guy wasn't home when I wsa there. Fast forward to today. My friend has to have someone watch his dog for a few months and his ex said she could. Well aparrently, she had talked to this guy with the Brats for me and he said that he'd just left them go. So when I go up to take my buddy's dog up to her, I'll be bringing back 2 gen 1 Brats.
