i'm installing the timing belts on my xt-6 how do i make sure that i'm not putting them on 180 degrees out also where is the timing mark on the crank gear located
also just to make sure i have this straight
point the timing mark on one came straight up along with the crank gear timing mark then rotate the crank 180 degrees so the other side lines up then install right

That should help you.
After reading everyone else's posts about timing belts...
On the flywheel (when you look through the hole) there should be a spot with three lines. Line up the middle line with the pointer.

Right. When you put on the second belt, one timing mark will be pointing up and the other will point down.
