Video of my friend and fellow competitor Mike Goodwin

Mike and co driver Debbie are fine, very minor injuries.
The car however, will need major repair.
I hope to see them back on the stages again soon!

yes that crash was really quite bad.

the occupants are uninjured

but the car is totalled.

the stump they landed on ripped right through the bottom chassis
they basically need to start over

no idea if there's actual cage damage or not
but Mike will need and entirely new shell at this point :(

really strange accident

i nearly think they'd have been better off if they'd just rolled....

just shows how safe these cars really are!!!

I'm glad everyone is okay. No offense to Mike, but he should have gassed it. In the video it looks like he thought he was going too fast and hit the brakes...(notice She says "You were on the brakes, weren't you?") Good looking crash.. amazing it didn't actually roll over. It does look like he came into that corner a little hot though.

Is that guy in the orange shirt 'Jimmy' from "Yes, Dear"

yup, that was a nasty crash.glad both are ok...

looks like the back pass tire got snagged on something when he was drifting into the corner then caused the front to go into a ditch that tripped the subie...

great pics too

That's what I thought when I saw the slowmo replay in the video...
Sad to hear about the poor subie, but good to hear the occupants are ok.

Better luck next time.
