He has a 9 second AWD BRAT and a pile of rally cars and one offs like that one. He is also famous down there for doing things like dropping the Legacy B4 engine into a rusty gen II BRAT (suspension work too) and skunking a lambo in a head to head. PHATBRAT Posted October 30, 2003 Share Posted October 30, 2003 Actually it was a porshe. It too was awd and the race was on sand. The BRAT won for like the 1st 1/4 mile. The title of the article if I remember correctly was "Beauty and the Beast" because the porshe was brand new and the BRAT was beat to hell, well, at least the body was. I hope they have some big insurance policies on them. Would hate to be reading about them like the thread of a few months back where there was a nasty, prolonged fight with an insurance companyover the "true" value of a brat.
