jaebeam Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 I am looking into purchasing a 2000 subaru Forester. The previous owner was quite the ... slob. The car stinks of smoke, and there are several burns in the seats and on the floor. I contacted a detailer, and they can clean the interior, and remove the stench using an Ionizer for $60. Any thoughts on what it would cost, ballpark, to repair 2 seats with 4 or 5 burns each, and the floor carpeting, with about 8 burns? What does it cost to replace the seats? gbhrps Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 You can save some money by getting rid of the smell with Maguires Odour Eliminator, a hand pump spay in a transparent yellow bottle. Two applications in a used car I bought completely rid the car of all of the smoke odours. Get it where you can buy other Maquires products.
