Not 2 weeks after I bought my 79, I had already bought official 78 and 79 Subaru FSM's, and a 71-79 Subaru Haynes manual. If you don't like eBay or refuse to deal with it,etc. I'll likely be able to help you out,or another board member,with a factory service manual.(FSM) I also have factory parts manuals too,right here handy. Where to start? If you're doing it 100% right,or as close as possible you should get a rotisserie to lift the vehicle up and be able to rotate it to EASILY work on the body....that is if you're doing the body. Am I getting too deep here? I'm not sure to what extent you plan on retoring or refurbishing the car. A 100% correct restoration is much more near impossible than probable.But you can get it looking really close to 100% and fabricate some rubber parts,etc. Have to cook dinner.I'll check back later. Well,I guess now I have to work the plow I have into my '78 restoration. Seeing yours has certainly got me thinking about it.Thanks again for all your pictures you posted.
