Guest sbiddle
I had a constant check engine light when the fuel level went really low, and I was able to clear it by disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes. Is this a common problem with this years legacy? Also, can I read codes using the black and/or green connectors? or do I need to get the computer scanned with OBD2? Thanks, SBiddle 95 Legacy Wagon
Guest Legacy777
If you get a code, don't just clear it right away without checking it. When you get it again, go to autozone or another bigger name autoparts store, they should be able to check the code for you.
pinecone45
On any subaru pre 96 you can check the code your self by locating the green wiring harness under the drivers side dash. Just plug it in turn the car to the on position and count the flashes.
