RisSanSubaru Posted August 26, 2006 Share Posted August 26, 2006 hey i was wondering what sorta front grill your 78 has?? is it a 2 head light or a 4 head light?? i have a 78 as well but i think somone changed the grill and im trying to find out which its suposed to be.... maximumBRAT Posted August 26, 2006 Share Posted August 26, 2006 GL will have 4 headlights, DL has 2. in 81 the difference was 1.8 to 1.6 engine, but i think that's just the trim level before that (before they started putting the 1.8 in there). does it have an ashtray and a tach? if yes, it's probably a GL and would have the 4 headlight grill. Also the panel (that's painted.. below the bumper) with have the bottom part of the headlight cut into it if it's the DL, will be straight on the top edge if not.
