Guest turbotuner
Hey guys, My name is Dan Glaser, I'm usually cruising around on the older gen message board because I have an 84 turbo wagon. I recently bought a 1993 Impreza AWD wagon for really cheap (like 2000 grand cheap:D ) with 175k. I want to do an engine swap....Either the single or twin turbo 2.0 liter. I've been doing swaps in Nissans (the sr20det for those that are curious) for almost 3 years now and was wondering if I can shove the ej20det or TT into my Impreza. Thanks, Dan
Guest Legacy777
Yes you can swap an EJ20T into the impreza.....don't bother with the twin turbo setup....more hassle then it's worth, plus the primary turbo interfers with the steering & braking. Guest subyluvr2212
The only Subaru sold in America that will take an EJ20TT without serious work would be the Legacy postal wagons that were right-hand-drive. Legacy777 is right, the primary turbo would occupy the same space as the brake master cylinder on a LHD model...
