subiedoobiedoo
I have a '92 Legacy L wagon, which runs flawlessly. My only complaint is a persistent rattle/buzz from under the car somwhere. It sound like the old chronic exhaust system "heat shield" buzz from my '86 & '87 GL10s, but in this case I've had it up on the lift @ my mechanic's shop and have been unable to replicate it by tapping, jiggling or hammering. I'm stumped.....the sound definitely becomes more pronounced when I take my foot off the gas..... Any ideas? Thanks! Mark
theotherskip
put it on the lift again, only this time with the engine running. have someone rev then engine until it starts to rattle. you will then be able to find exactly which piece(s) is(are) rattling. ScoobySchmitty
With an air grinder and some patience, I cut off most of the rattling peices of my exhaust system. I'm still getting some rattles, so I'll have to go back in and check it out. In any case, skip's right.
kevinsUBARU
My heat shields have rusted off at the ends a little, and they now vibrate on my front skid plate....very urban:banana:
