4x4 87 wagon drive train fit 86 2wd sedan

will the drive shaft fit or will you have to get it cut down we have a wrecked 87 4x4 and we want to put the drive train in the 86 2wd sedan will that work

i would of but the car is down a hill about 100 feet and its on its side thats why i was asking
