Where to get a electric choke for a Hitachi?

I am almost positive that the spring mechanism of my electric choke is broken because the choke does not seem to want to engage at all in the morning causing my 87 GL to be almost impossible to start. I was wondering where I could go about getting a replacement choke? Any help would be much appreciated.
