I think there is some forum for VW swaps that has a section dedicated to the ej swap.

they cannot help with clearance issues,subframe issues,weight distribution,and so on.at least not as much as someone that knows his subie engine,and his dub chassis like the back of his hand.

hello my name is chd and i am a vw guy. i have 5 beetles from 60 to 74, and a few other vws, but i hve not done this swap. if you havent herd of THE SAMBA.COM its massive with a ton of info nd pics and likks. engineswap.com was a place i used to visit and a site thats called germanautoblog or germanautoforum was good but not shur which name, sorry and hope you have luck as i will check with the bus pilots here in boise id. if any of the members have ideas. i knoe one guy, his name is DON FERN and he does this trnsplant frequently but more in vanagons but i dont know his email i contact him by telly...
