The other day I was admiring a really nice Vanagon near a job site. The
owner came out, and I said "nice Vanagon" and he said "It's a Vanaroo", I think he was somewhat suprised when I new exactly what he was talking about! We had a nice chat, 89 Vanagon with a 98 EJ25. Told me it flys up
the road, hasn't been given him any trouble since the conversion two years ago, and gets 22 to 25 mpg's! The cool thing was that he was really
excited to share any information about the conversion, as well as info on
Vanagons. Finding this guy gave me a new found hope of eventually getting my own "Vanaroo" built!
Had to share,
Chris
