Hey Subaru Freaks!
I was wondering with all the new cam grinds for highly tuned N/A and Turbocharged EA82T and ER27's has any one upgraded to stiffer valve springs?
After thought; Along with this has anyone found any titanium or aftermarket retainers or valve spring locks?

Yes! I'm not sure of the spelling, but Paeco Industries has an application for EA81s for sure, but I'm not sure about EA82s.

RAM sells kits too. Also Delta Cam could probably set you up as well. They have all that valve oreiented paraphernalia, or can get it.
The MPFI/SPFI springs are stiffer than the carb versions too. That's one reason for the 500 RPM higher redline.

Do all ea82's have the dual springs, a smaller counter-wound one in the middle? I took a carbed one apart and it had the dual springs...

I bought some from RAM for my ea81.I have yet to install them, but they are sooo much stiffer.I am not sure if I will even need the inner stock spring, but I am sure it is wise to install it with them.
