Dennis ex24 Posted November 19, 2003 Share Posted November 19, 2003 i think thats a big stretch... there was "rumored" to be a guy who ran an XT6 info page a few years ago who squeezed 400hp out of his car, however there is no information available on him or the car itself. i honestly dont see this trans capable of with standing that kind of power. im touching in on 180+hp with my XT and 3rd gear feels a little "stubborn" sometimes...i dont think they would have over built the trans for an XT6 by that big of a margin. The SXV and the XT6 have the same trans. Of course the SVX version has more clutch packs but in reality they come from the same family as does all Impreza and Legacy slushes in the US.
