oh no!!

Since the car is an RX you should be fine. The Full time 4WD system allows all 4 wheels to turn at different speeds.

If you locked the center diff while having different size tires on it you may have had some binding.

As long as the car is still driving fine I wouldn't worry about any problems. Just go ahead and made sure all the tires match from now on.

Quite the opposite. if the center diff were locked, there would be no binding at the center diff, because there at least 1 each of the same size wheel between both axles.

now having a smaller tire on one side of the same axle, the bind is going to be in the rear diff. there would be no bind in an open diff. so if there is bind on the lsd, then that means its trying to engage the whole time, either the tires would scrub, ir the lsd would slip. it would be slipping all the time when going normally, rather than catching when it needs to like when a wheel breaks traction

i cant tell you wether or not that would wear it out or damage it, but i CAN tell youthat the led mechanism is engaging the WHOLE TIME rather than when needed.

got a new tire, lsd works GREAT!! but now i have a new problem.. i got in a little wreck.. well, i didnt hit another car, i missed it, and understeered into a curb at about 15mph with the wheel all the way to the left, and the tires locked up... Now i need a lower control arm, a ball joint, and a tension rod.. prolly the tie rod, maybe the inner.. all the others are fine, exept passenger front.

that rim and tire are ruined, ill be sure to post pics soon enough..

also, on a side note, if anyone has theese parts, let me know..

hell, im even considering selling it at this point.. its totally easily fixable, but this car was one project too many

it saddens me too much
