You can use a hub from ANY Subaru from 1975-1979 (cars) and 1977-1981 (BRAT) I think you can even use a hub from Gen 2 stuff. 1980- cars and 1982- BRATs and up. (Someone correct me on this). All you'd need would be the calipers and the front hubs/rotors from a mid '83 EA81 and up. Gives you vented front disc brakes and parts are easier to come by.
