iridium plugs for 97 ob sport wagon?

I have a 1997 impreza outback sport that i have owned for approx. 3 months and was thinking of installing NGK iridium plugs and Beck/Arnley "blue thunder" wires. Just wanting to know anyones thoughts on this and if anyone has heard how the iridium plugs compared to regular copper or platinum ones and if these wires have been used by anyone? I have also decided to buy ceramic brake pads over the oe ones if anyone has used them and can state the performance i would appreciate it. thanks again. allen from wv

I have had NGK Iridiums in my Outback for over a year, decision made after talking to NGK. One of the best upgrades made yet. Also used in my Mazda turbo which is hard on plugs. As NGK said "obsolete all our other plugs". Checkout the photo of burn pattern on http://www.ngkspark.com.au
