SO which one is the correct one? Also, does anyone know where I can get/order/find uprated springs, that are lower, for racing purposes? TROGDOR! Posted December 2, 2003 Share Posted December 2, 2003 Methinks the one on the right is the proper RX spring. I had a set of RX springs/struts and I don't remember the ends tapering like the one on the left. Also, the RX ones are supposed to be stiffer. Logic would dictate that they'd be the ones with thicker metal. Hey SKIP... those struts I sold you... what kind of springs do they appear to have on them? pleiades Posted December 3, 2003 Share Posted December 3, 2003 You thinks right! I just threw the springs on a spring dyno a minute ago. The RX spring was ~160lb and the other was ~130lb! What a difference! No wonder the car was sitting a little funny. The place that had the spring dyno, also has some other goodies. hehe... More info to come on that in the future.
