new engine 2.jpg

had to re angle the engine cause one of the chain links broke and almost ************ed up the engine and my whole front clip :eh:

new engine 3.jpg

and while manuvering it in the bay, ran into some clerance issues just as i predicted. so off with the tire holder when i get my hands on a grinder!!!! along with a few other misc ************ lol

tires.jpg

tires2.jpg

all these went for over 900 all togeather and i got one more semi used set in the garage

tranny.jpg

turbo 400 with manual valve body :eek9:

need i say more?

new tools yay.jpg

its always good to have new tools

mechanix gloves.jpg

no one seemed to mind when i litterally walked into the store, put these on my hands and walked out :P

my new grinder.jpg

picked up this big bad boy from the pawn shop. this *************** moves!

my new brake line bender.jpg

compliments of autozone. cost me nothing, litterally(rewards card ftw)

before i touched the car.jpg

before i even attempted to lay hands on the car

dirty ass fire wall.jpg

there she sits, the main area of my engine bay needing attention.

dirty firewall and grommets.jpg

then as i took more pictures, thoughts started running through my head.

brackets to be cut off.jpg

these are brackets of where my old ac unit, horn, and some random bracket that had no purpose what so ever. so off they go!

more brackets to be cut off.jpg

some of these are the brackets for my distributor, coil pack, and what not. but hey what the hell, ill make new mounts :thumb:

cv alxes need removal.jpg

these ************ers are gonna need to come off either way so ill take em off too lol.(cv axles)

wiring harness.jpg

you would think that such an old car like this wouldn't have this much of a harness, but i was sadly mistaken

fuel pump bracket.jpg stock fuel pump mounting bracket

holes needing filling.JPG

all the areas shaded in red are holes that are going to be of no use to me any more and have rubber grommets filling the holes.

so i opted to grind them down, weld them up, and smooth them out.

motor mount locations.jpg

same as for here, areas shaded in red are most likely where the mounts are going to go, and i will cut sround the brackets to fit around the screws.

or i may cut holes into the brackets to put the screws into

old brake line distributor.jpg

this is going to have to be relocated due to cutting concerns as well as wanting to have a clean engine bay

trans cut out area.jpg

same explination as last picture but only facing the front in engine bay view

all shinin n clean.jpg

its ************ing amazing what 2 shop rags, a towel, a spray bottle of soap and water and another spray bottle of water will do.

trans hump.jpg

this is going to have to be enlarged so the turbo 400 will be able to fit in

trans area needing attention.jpg

this is mainly the area that needs to be cut. the mid area where the holes in the previous picture and back is not really an area of concern right now.

it will be when i need to mount the ratchet shifter.

no more fuel pump bracket.jpg no more clutter :D

my ingridients to fuel me.jpg

and this is by far the best mixture that any one can ask for while working

old stock rear end.jpg

my next area of concern after i get all that ************ above taken care of :eek9:

up close pic.jpg

just a lil positioning and she fit right in! only concern is the rear where the trans will connect. its gonna be a hell of a lot bigger hole than i thought it would be :gonk: but other than that the front seems to have enough room lol. im thinkin after i attach some other parts like the harmonic balancer, water pump, and a few other things, ill see if i will be able to put the hood on it lol. but im thinkin i will make a new oil pan to drop it down some more and push it forward some more

pushed this beast out once again(with motor in it) and pulled interior, ac system in cack of car, and my dirt bike tires, as well as all of the carpet. then i proceeded to take off the rear sway/stabilizer bar and drop the gas tank. man it sucks having gas on your leg eatin you up! :/
