MaroonDuneDoom Posted December 7, 2003 Share Posted December 7, 2003 ever since i had that overheat, my engine hasn't been the same. when it was overheating, if i held the accelerator halfway to the floor, it would tick like a baseball card on a bicycle. when i floored it, it would bog down and want to die. eventually it did. well, now it seems to bog down a bit between 3 and 4k rpm. what the hell is wrong with my baby:boohoo: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
myossfeece Posted December 7, 2003 Share Posted December 7, 2003 try puttin a compression tester on each of the cylinders. maybe cracked head(s), gasket(s)? could be a loss of compression. When it bogs down does it sound like it's gettin to much fuel and "choking" or running lean and "starvin" for gas? maybe a plug went if ran to hot.
