Got my starting issues resolved today. The new (used) starter worked like a charm!

old one i'd sure take that apart and check those contacts, good to have a spare onhand!!

Yeah, I kept the old one, and Mick was kind enough to give me two used ones (Free!) so I have 2 spares. Haven't gotten around to tearing the bad one apart, and probably won't unless I need it, but I'm keeping it all the same.
